MC Driver | Taroom | QLD

An opportunity exists for an experienced and reliable MC Truck Driver to join a family-owned grazing operation based in Taroom, Queensland.

This role involves transporting cattle between company properties located across Taroom, Tambo, Thargomindah, Eromanga and Julia Creek, as well as deliveries to meatworks. The successful applicant will also assist with the transport of grain and other agricultural commodities as required.

This position would suit someone looking for a genuine work-life balance, with less pressure than commercial line-haul driving and significantly less time away from home.

Based in Taroom, Queensland, this role offers the opportunity to enjoy a relaxed rural lifestyle while remaining close to schools, sporting facilities and community services.

• Transport cattle between company-owned grazing properties

• Deliver livestock to meatworks

• Transport grain and agricultural commodities

• Conduct pre-start checks and vehicle inspections

• Perform routine truck maintenance and basic repairs

• Complete transport records and compliance requirements

• Work independently and responsibly across a range of routes

To be considered for this position, you will ideally have:

• Current MC licence (Australian issued)

• Livestock transport experience preferred

• Good mechanical aptitude and ability to perform routine maintenance

• Strong work ethic and reliability

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Commitment to safe driving and animal welfare standards
