Stockperson/ Pen Rider | Condamine | QLD

Reporting to the Livestock Supervisor, the person fulfilling this role will be required to work
within a team environment, undertaking animal husbandry activities and other livestock
related tasks, whilst ensuring the welfare of the animals is maintained.

Arubial Pty Ltd, situated on the Western Darling Downs QLD, operates as a family-owned
feedlot, full-blood Wagyu stud and dry land cropping aggregation, trading as Lillyvale
Feedlot and Arubial Pty Ltd. Centred around long-fed Wagyu and short-term custom fed
contracts, Lillyvale is a licensed 26,000 head feedlot and proudly employs over 50 team
members. 

We are currently seeking a stockperson with cattle experience to join our livestock team

Primary Duties include but are not limited to:

• Assist with all aspects of cattle induction, internal movements and dispatch, in accordance

  with feedlot protocols and processes.

• Health checks, drafting and other movements of cattle.

• Assist with cleaning of water troughs.

• Low stress cattle handling.

• Record keeping.

• General cleaning and maintenance.

• Pen Riding either on horse or foot.

• All other duties assigned by the Livestock Supervisor.

• Good communication skills.

• Demonstrated experience/willingness to learn cattle handling and management.

• Be a team player.

• Cattle husbandry experience & competency in horse riding is desirable.

• Basic computer skills are an advantage.

• Health and Safety orientated.
