Machinery Operator/ Water Maintenance | Carpentaria Downs Station | QLD

Angus Pastoral Company is seeking an experienced operator in a role to undertake both routine machine operation, property and water maintenance and development. 

The role is open to couples and singles with a potential opening for a partner.  

Carpentaria Downs is the flagship breeding property for the Angus group. Located just south of Einasleigh in North Queensland.

• Grader operation, maintaining roads, fire breaks, fencelines and erosion control measures

• Dozer operation (D7)

• Water maintenance, servicing and repairing solar and diesel pumps, pipelines and troughs

• Water development, installation of new troughs, pipelines and pumps. 

• Assisting with developing improved pastures, burning programs and fire management

• Other property development and maintenance

• Experience with grader and dozer operation

• Experience in the development and maintenance of stock waters (pumps, solar, bores, troughs, poly lines) 

• Mechanical aptitude

• Package negotiable based on experience 

• Accommodation and meals provided

• Position for a partner is potentially available
