HM Air is seeking a motivated and committed Junior Helicopter Pilot to join our Rotary Division.

Operating to BARS and IOGP 590 standards, we are a leading provider of aviation and utility services to the pastoral, private, mining, oil and gas, government, and emergency response sectors throughout Northern Australia.
Our rotary-wing fleet includes AS350, B206L, R44 and Cabri G2 helicopters, supporting a diverse range of operations in some of Australia's most remote and challenging environments.
Reporting to the Rotary Operations Manager and Chief Pilot, the successful applicant will support the safe and efficient delivery of helicopter mustering and pastoral aviation operations across Northern Australia. This role provides the opportunity to develop practical mustering experience while working alongside experienced pilots in remote operational environments.
Key responsibilities include:
Conduct helicopter mustering operations in accordance with CASA regulations, company procedures and the highest standards of aviation safety.
Assist with livestock mustering and station operations across a variety of pastoral properties.
Work closely with senior pilots and station personnel to safely and efficiently complete daily operational tasks.
Carry out pre-flight inspections, aircraft preparation and post-flight servicing in accordance with company procedures.
Maintain accurate operational records, flight documentation and aircraft logbooks.
Build and maintain positive working relationships with clients, station staff and fellow team members.
Travel extensively and work away from home base for extended periods as required by operational demands.
Maintain aircraft cleanliness, presentation and security while operating in remote environments.
Participate in company training, safety initiatives and ongoing professional development opportunities.
Promote and actively contribute to HM Air's strong safety culture, professionalism and commitment to operational excellence.
Undertake other duties within the scope of the role as reasonably directed.
