We are a family-run feed mill in Broome, WA, producing cattle loose licks, blocks and other products for the NW.
Our busy plant requires another full-time operator to assist with loading trucks for customers and unloading trucks from suppliers. Also working on the floor to produce orders.
Loader and fork-lift experience are essential.
We are a Feedsafe accredited business so your commitment to hygiene, maintenance and safety are essential along with excellent records keeping and data entry. Computer knowledge is a must.
Mechanical skills are desirable as servicing and repairs of machinery are done in house where possible.
Agriculture and cattle knowledge are desirable also.
Lakeside Minerals Livestock is located in Broome on a large commercial premises near the Port. Facilities include a new purpose built plant and several storage sheds where we produce loose licks, blocks and other products for the cattle industry.
Operate plant, forklift and loader to produce stock feeds
Assist with Quality and Hygiene
Load customer trucks
Unload supplier trucks
Operate computer on plant
Record keeping for QA and maintenance
Loader and fork-lift experience are essential.
Computer knowledge is a must.
Own transport and accommodation in Broome required
Some knowledge of cattle industry preferred
Mechanical skills are desirable
Monday to Friday (occasional weekends) but weekends are mostly free.
