Ground Handling Assistant | Tennant Creek | NT

HM Air is seeking a reliable and motivated Ground Handling Assistant to join our team in Tennant Creek on a permanent part-time basis.

This is a varied role supporting our Freight and Logistics team and providing ground handling services for Airnorth, Qantas Freight and Viva Energy.

• This is a Permanent Part Time Role (15 - 20 hours per fortnight)

• These are permanent positions and not available to Working Holiday Visa Holders (Backpackers) or overseas applicants, sorry but applications will not be considered.

The work will be conducted at Tennant Creek, NT.

Working as part of our operations team, you will be responsible for a range of airport and ground handling duties, including:

• Passenger check-in, boarding and baggage handling for Airnorth flights

• Loading and unloading passenger baggage

• Supporting flight departures and ensuring required paperwork is completed

• Coordinating Qantas Freight bookings and freight movements

• Supporting Viva Energy operations, including reporting, compliance and quality assurance

• Liaising with clients, staff and operational teams

• Maintaining high standards of safety, compliance and customer service

• Completing required documentation accurately and on time

• Assisting the wider Operations team as required

Previous aviation, airport, freight or customer service experience will be highly regarded, however, training will be provided to the right person.
