We are seeking a motivated, experienced and well organised Station Hand at our new North Queensland breeding property, Panhandle Station near Collinsville.
You will be based at our new North Queensland breeding property, Panhandle Station, located approx. 43km west of Collinsville, QLD.
Your role will include:
All aspects of livestock operations in a backgrounding cattle operation.
A commitment to safe work practices and good animal welfare outcomes
Rotational grazing and pasture management
Operating and maintaining farm vehicles and equipment
Cattle and pasture record keeping utilising Koolcollect, Maia Grazing & Safe Ag Systems
Maintenance of stock water bores and fencing
Involvement in completion of significant water & fencing infrastructure projects
General station duties

We require an excellent team player with a can-do attitude who really loves working with cattle in a calm and confident manner. You need to be:
Observant and able to complete tasks to a high standard with attention to detail
A good communicator who can work in a team or on your own
Organised and tidy
Fit, healthy and willing to learn
Licenced to drive a manual car
Your own working horses will be highly regarded. A yearly allowance is paid for the use of these animals.
