Whyalla Beef is seeking to fill a number of Pen Rider positions with enthusiastic staff.
You’ll be working at Whyalla Beef, one of Australia’s largest and technically innovative feedlots. With a current capacity of 75,000 head. Located in the Southern Downs, 25km northwest of Texas on the Queensland / New South Wales border. The town of Texas is perched on the banks of the picturesque Dumaresq River.
Daily livestock handling including pen riding and stock movements.
Diagnosis of animal health symptoms.
Maintain accurate records of animal treatments and stock movements.
Contributing to other areas of the livestock team.
Experience in animal welfare and health.
Strong horsemanship skills - own horses advantageous
