Job Description

Paspaley Pastoral is seeking a reliable and practical Gardener / Handyman to join the team at Thornthwaite, near Scone in the Upper Hunter Valley, NSW.

This full-time role involves maintaining the property’s gardens, lawns and grounds, along with general handyman repairs and property maintenance.

The position would suit someone who enjoys country living, takes pride in their work and is comfortable working both independently and as part of a small team. Accommodation and electricity are supplied.

Key Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities

  • Undertake general gardening and grounds maintenance.

  • Mow lawns, whipper snip and keep grounds tidy.

  • Maintain gardens, lawns and surrounding areas.

  • Carry out general handyman repairs and maintenance.

  • Assist with other general property duties as required.

Job Requirements

  • Previous gardening experience and practical handyman skills.

  • Reliable, honest and self-motivated, with a good work ethic.

  • Ability to work effectively within a small team.

  • Motivated and capable of working independently and unsupervised.

  • Take pride in your work and the presentation of the property.

  • Hold a current driver’s licence.
