We are seeking a motivated and reliable Station Hand to join our professional cattle operation at Karalee Plains, Central Queensland.
The role will involve mustering, processing and trucking cattle, fencing, checking waters, lick runs, general property maintenance and machinery operation . The successful applicant will have a strong focus on animal welfare, ideally have experience working with cattle and horses, and be confident working both independently and as part of a small team.
The ideal candidate will be:
Experienced with cattle and low-stress stock handling
A confident horse rider with mustering experience
Experienced with machinery and basic maintenance
Self-motivated, reliable, tidy and safety-conscious
A current manual driver’s licence holder; truck licence highly regarded
A positive team player with a willingness to get involved in all aspects of station life
