Pastoral Partners Australia (PPA) is looking to appoint 2 skilled Station Hands to join our team on a full-time basis.

The Machinery Operator/Handyman role encompasses a range of duties to help the property run smoothly. This includes maintaining key infrastructure, such as roads, fences, and pipelines, using the station 12G CAT grader. The role also involves working under the direction of and communicating directly with the Station Manager. When time permits, the Station Machinery Operator/Handyman assists with general vehicle and machinery maintenance, water runs and general duties around the homestead.

A Farm Hand plays a crucial role in broadacre farming operations, focusing solely on crop production and land management. Responsibilities include harvesting crops, producing feed for the feedlot, operating and maintaining machinery, and performing general farm maintenance and repairs. This role does not involve direct work with cattle but is essential in ensuring efficient and productive large-scale farming operations.

We are seeking an Operations Manager to lead the care, feeding, and overall operations of Aronui Feedlot. This role is responsible for overseeing cattle husbandry and feeding programs to support optimal growth, while ensuring the feedlot operates efficiently and at full capacity. You will play a key role in driving strong operational performance and supporting the long‑term success of the business.

We’re looking for a dedicated and experienced Road Train Driver to join our team at Headingly Station, located near Urandangi, approximately 200 km southwest of Mount Isa. This is a hands-on role where you’ll play a vital part in the safe and efficient transport of cattle across the Barkly region.

Following our recent expansion, the site now has a capacity of 75,000 head, making it one of Australia’s largest commercial feedlots. This is a practical outdoor role suited to people who enjoy working with cattle and being part of a hardworking supportive team. Positions may involve pen riding and/or livestock duties, depending on experience and skills.
