We are currently seeking Stockpersons with cattle experience to join our livestock teams in the Quinalow/Moola district in South East Queensland.
Reporting to the Feedlot Manager or Livestock Leading Hand you will perform all tasks relating to the health, welfare, handling, and husbandry of livestock.
You will be working at either “Kurrawong” and “Whaka” Feedlots located in the Quinalow/Moola district in South East Queensland.
Animal Health Management.
Livestock Handling including: inducting, drafting and cattle dispatch.
Record Keeping in accordance with feedlot protocols and processes.
Cleaning and Maintenance as required.
Low stress cattle handling.
Pen Riding
Contributing to other areas of the feedlot as required
Good Communication Skills
Be a team player
An understanding of animal health and welfare
Strong horsemanship skills and own horses that are suitable for feedlot work
Current drivers licence
Willingness to work a 10:4 roster
Wages and benefits above industry and award
Newly constructed horse stables and tack room
