Cobb Cattle Co require an enthusiastic, versatile and reliable assistant or 'Girl Friday' to join our team!
Cobb Cattle Co's Mellaluka Station is located 150km NW of Clermont in Central Queensland.
Mellaluka is 70,000 acres and runs approx. 5,000 head of EU breeding and growing cattle. We have a heavy focus on land condition and manage our stock using rotational grazing practises. We also strive to have a highly productive herd of cattle and continue to improve our genetics. Maintaining vegetable/house gardens and lawns
Providing night time meal and keeping food orders current
Basic house cleaning
Some station work (ie mustering, water runs) if desired
This position would be well suited to someone who wanted to study externally and remain in the bush or an external student wanting to experience station life for the first time.
Housekeeping, gardening and cooking experience preferred
Must be physically fit to undertake work (i.e. mowing lawns/ gardening)
Successful applicants will be offered comfortable self-contained accommodation, wi-fi, groceries and an evening meal.
Negotiable work hours and remuneration
Non smokers preferred.
No working dogs.
