We are on the search for a full time Station Hand to join our team in the development stage, with a new manager, of our cattle station at Florina Station, 65 km north of Katherine, in the NT.
You will be joining a new manager and one other team member.
Florina Station, under new management, is located 65km north of Katherine, NT.
You will be required to assist with improvements to infrastructure at Florina Station. A large part of the work will also require you to carry out new fencing and repairs on old fence lines.
Mustering, drafting and processing cattle.
We use helicopters to muster scrub bulls and have a strong weaner education programme and also produce hay crops.
Ability to assist with machinery based roles when needed.
Non smoker preferred and one dog on application.
You may be required to help with tractor work as well.

Experience living remotely is preferred
Must be clean tidy with sober habits
Good mechanical/ machine operation knowledge
Low stress stock handling preferred for livestock role
Own transport preferred
Groceries provided to make meals; and accommodation supplied with en-suited rooms (our accommodation is not suited to families with children).
Renumeration based on skills and experience
It's great to have your own vehicle so you can experience the region outside of work, we have a big river on our boundary so people that love Barra fishing will be in for a real treat!
