Livestock Hand | Kyabram | VIC

G2 Agri Group is a private family livestock business specialising in the production and finishing of cattle and the production of high-quality beef.

G2 are currently seeking an experienced Livestock Hand at our feedlot near Kyabram, who has a genuine interest in the feedlot industry and is willing to commit to our mission of producing top-quality beef for our customers. You will be joining a team responsible for the daily welfare and husbandry of cattle in our care.

You will be based at our feedlot near Kyabram, VIC.

• Livestock handling – inducting, drafting, and cattle dispatch, moving cattle with emphasis on low-stress stock handling. 

• Animal health management to meet quality assurance requirements.

• Accurate record keeping with a high importance on data integrity and quality.

• Assist in maintaining company standards of animal welfare and WHS responsibilities.

• Contributing to other areas of the feedlot as required.

• Experience in cattle handling, with an understanding of animal health and welfare and low stress stock handling techniques.

• Good communication and organisational skills.

• Excellent record keeping skills.

• Effective teamwork skills.

• Current drivers licence.

• Feedlot experience is advantageous.
