Senior Sales Consultant | Sunshine Coast | QLD

$150,000 yearly

Job Description

Land Watch Australia is the leading provider of solar-powered security camera systems for rural Australia. Our systems are already protecting some of the largest cattle stations, cropping operations, and agricultural businesses in the country.

We require a Senior Agricultural Sales Consultant – Rural Australia, to join our team.

OTE: Up to $150,000+ (Base + Uncapped Commission)

This isn’t a startup experiment or an untested product.
We’re established, proven, and growing fast — and we’re looking for an experienced agricultural sales professional to help us scale further.

Why this role exists

Demand for our systems continues to grow across rural Australia. We already have:

  • A strong inbound lead pipeline

  • An established national brand in the ag sector

  • Long-standing relationships with major agricultural families and enterprises

What we’re missing is another sharp operator who already understands agriculture, knows how farmers buy, and can turn conversations into long-term clients.

Let’s be honest – we all work in this industry because deep down we dream of running our own place one day. In the meantime, if you want to continue to build your relationships with the biggest names in the industry and learn everyday then come work where our goals align.

Key Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities

  • Managing and converting qualified inbound leads

  • Building your own pipeline through industry relationships and referrals

  • Attending industry events including field days and conferences in your territory/industry

  • Completing site visits and property walk overs

  • Running discovery conversations and solution presentations

  • Recommending practical, fit-for-purpose security systems for rural properties

  • Developing long-term relationships with property owners, managers, and ag businesses

This is a full-cycle sales role with strong support behind you — not a churn-and-burn call centre.

Job Requirements

This role will suit you if:

You’ve spent years selling into agriculture — not learning it from a brochure.

You’ve sold products like:

  • Seed, fertiliser, chemicals

  • Tractors, machinery, irrigation

  • Ag-tech or rural services

You’re just as comfortable sitting in a boardroom table as at a kitchen table, talking real-world problems, and building trust that lasts years — not weeks.

Non-negotiables

  • Proven experience selling into the agricultural sector

  • Genuine passion for agriculture and rural Australia

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills

  • Comfortable working autonomously and being accountable for results

If you don’t have real agricultural sales experience, this role won’t be the right fit.

Nice to have

  • Existing producer and ag-industry contacts

  • Experience with high-value or technical products

  • CRM experience (Pipedrive a bonus)

  • Regional or rural background

Final word

If you’re looking for:

  • An untested product

  • Endless internal meetings

  • Or a job where effort isn’t rewarded

This won’t suit you.

If you want:

  • A proven product

  • Real earning potential

  • And a company that respects good operators

We should talk.

Job Benefits

Earnings & structure

  • Base salary + uncapped commission

  • Current commission structure:

    • 5% on company-generated leads

    • 10% on self-sourced leads (if you bring in the lead, you should be rewarded for it)

  • Top performers are currently writing $2M+ in annual sales

  • Experienced ag reps with existing networks should realistically expect to reach this level after the first year.

We reward initiative, relationships, and results.

Training & support

You’ll receive:

  • Structured onboarding

  • In-depth product and systems training

  • Workbooks, training materials, and ongoing support

  • A technical and operations team that actually backs sales

You’ll never be left to “figure it out”, but you’ll be trusted to operate like a professional. You already know what you're doing, we want to help you go and do it.

Culture (the part that actually matters)

Land Watch Australia started as a family business and still reflects those values:

  • People are treated well and supported to be their best

  • Results matter, but so does how you get them

  • We’re real enough for the bloke in the yards and professional enough for the corporates in the high rise.

  • Systems exist to help you win, not slow you down

  • We love our clients. There is a reason we all work in this industry – it’s the people.

We’re now a systemised national operation — without losing the human side that makes it a great place to work.
