A position is available for an experienced Station Hand and/or Handyman at “Dunrobin” Queensland.

'Dunrobin' is a rural property is located 120 km north of Chinchilla, 100km west of Eidsvold and 100km to Taroom and Wandoan.

Key Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities

  • Water runs 

  • Fencing 

  • Cattle handling 

  • Other duties as required

Job Requirements

Applicant MUST have experience and be competent with:

  • Water runs: ability to maintain and repair water troughs and water infrastructure.

  • Fencing: erecting new 4 barbed fences and repairing fences when required.

  • Cattle handling: some cattle experience would be beneficial for occasional work in the cattle yards with drafting, branding and weaning.

  • Applicants must be competent with operating and maintaining machinery. 

  • A sound knowledge and competent use of chainsaws, tractors and welders would be an advantage.

  • A HC licence is desirable.
