Anna Creek Station is seeking to employ a Cook/ Domestic to work within the team.
Williams Cattle Company is family owned and consists of seven organically certified pastoral properties in the far north of South Australia, along with grazing and cropping land around Carrieton in the Flinders Ranges. The company has a strong focus on breeding and fattening quality Hereford and Angus cattle.
Anna Creek Station is situated 160kms east of Coober Pedy and 16kms west of William Creek. The property has a blend of sand hill country with swamps and large gibber tableland which covers just under 16000 sq km.
Cooking meals including smoko and dinner, breakfast twice a week for a crew of around 10 to 14 plus guests at times in a well-equipped and functional kitchen space
Maintaining a high standard of kitchen cleanliness
Watering kitchen lawn area
Assisting with the butchering of meat
Cleaning guest buildings and other odd jobs when time permits
Must be a cheerful person of tidy hygienic habits
Be a self-starter, and flexible with a can-do attitude

Reg, Ron and Bill Williams purchased the first pastoral property, Nilpinna, in 1967. Jimmy Nunn was appointed as manager, a position he held for 17 years.
Over the years the company expanded, purchasing Mount Barry (1981), Mount Sarah (1985), Arckaringa (1989), Hamilton (1995), and in 2016 Anna Creek and The Peake were added to the portfolio. The total area of the pastoral properties is 45,000 square kilometres.
The southern property, Coonibar, has an area of some 11,400 hectares. Williams Cattle Company, on its pastoral properties, has a maximum carrying capacity rating from the Pastoral Board of 36,500 head of branded cattle. Poll Hereford beef cattle are the preferred breed along with Angus and Angus cross cattle.
