We are looking for a Bore Runner to join the team at Eva Down Station.
Eva Downs, which borders on the western side of Anthony Lagoon, is located approximately 300km north east from Tennant Creek. The two properties are set in the hub of the Northern Territory’s Barkly Tablelands on the historic Barkly Stock route.
This is a physical job that includes working both Indoors and outdoors in all types of climatic conditions.
You may also be exposed to the elements of wind, heat, dust, rain.
Eva Downs, which borders on the western side of Anthony Lagoon Station, is located approximately 300km north east from Tennant Creek. Anthony Lagoon and Eva Downs are involved in the breeding, backgrounding and trade of high-grade Brahman cross cattle, which are turned off predominantly for live export.
Safely perform your job and take responsibility for your safe work behaviour.
Checking turkey nest level, turkey nest fences, troughs, motors, pump jacks and helical rotors at each bore.
Ensuring water supply levels are correct.
Keeping a written record of bores checked level of water at each turkey next, number of cattle at each trough, and maintenance on fences, troughs and motors.
Maintain bore runner motor vehicle and report any breakdowns.
Previous experience in a similar role (desired)
Ability to coordinate a daily and weekly work schedule.
Capability to work both alone and as part of a team.
