Truck Diver/ Machinery Operator | Douglas Daly | NT

• A Truck Diver/ Machinery Operator opportunity is available within a family-owned and operated enterprise, located in the Douglas Daly district, approximately two hours (250km) south of Darwin, Northern Territory.

• The successful candidate will play an integral role in supporting all aspects of farm operations.

• Operating and maintaining Kenworth Prime Mover

• Daily vehicle checks

• Operating other machinery such as John Deere tractors, dozers or graders during busy times

• Experience in operating a range of machinery including Prime Movers

• MC unrestricted license and clean driving history

• Previous experience in agriculture

• Ability in maintaining machinery and vehicles to a high standard

• Mechanically minded

• Experience with GPS guided tractors.

• Very clean, tidy and sober habits

• Good communication skills

• Ability to follow instructions and work both in a team and unsupervised

• A Three-bedroom house is provided, and a primary school located 10 minutes away

• Part-time employment options may be available for partner.

• Salary will be dependent on experience and house, gas, water, electricity and internet provided.  

• Meals not included and please NO DOGS.
