Join the team at Pack Saddle Ag, we have 2 positions available in our contract mustering camp based in the Northern Territory.
Muster cattle using helicopters, motorbikes and horses (strong focus on horsemanship).
This position is not available to Working Holiday Visa Holders (Backpackers). Nor do we accept applications from overseas or offer sponsorship to overseas jobseekers.
Our work gives employees an opportunity to work and live across scenic Northern territory, with contracts taking us from the West MacDonnell ranges to the Barkly region.
Mustering is completed on motorbikes and horseback with a strong focus on horsemanship.
Yarding, drafting, branding, earmarking and tagging
Fencing/ welding may be required
Operating machinery & equipment may be required
Feeding and caring for cattle
Other day to day tasks that may be required - never stand idle!
Operating for 3 years we have a strong focus on animal welfare and efficient stock handling practices.
Experience with cattle both on motorbikes and horses (horses preferred).
