We require an Assistant Farm Manager/ Livestock Overseer for our property near Moss Vale, NSW.
You will be an experienced Livestock person willing to work with the Farm Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the property.
This is a hands-on role and you will be involved in all facets of the farm operations from livestock husbandry, pasture improvement, machinery ops, nutrition application, to property and asset maintenance.

The property is approx. 500 Ha of highly fertile and pristine grazing country at Moss Vale in the heart of the Southern Highlands, NSW.
The property runs both a stud and commercial Angus enterprise and is at the forefront of cutting-edge developments into regenerative agriculture principles and carbon farming initiatives.
Hands-on supervision of animal husbandry and livestock operations.
Oversee stock water, pasture improvement, time control grazing.
High attention to detail of livestock and record keeping.
Operating farm machinery, including tasks related to paddock preparation, planting, spreading and nutrition application.
Maintenance of all farm infrastructure; incl. buildings, fences to a high standard.
Oversee farm management, and staff/contractors as required.

Education/ Experience/ Skills
Previous experience in a stud and/or commercial cattle enterprise (min. 3 years).
Experience with rotational grazing, pasture and fodder crop management.
Experience with Farm Management software (e.g. Gallager, AgriWebb).
Mechanical aptitude and general maintenance skills (machinery, fencing, water systems).
Experience/Knowledge/Training in relevant Regen Ag principles, soil health, biological nutrition and Carbon Farming initiatives (desirable).
Licences, accreditations, certificates (desirable): HR, firearms, Chemcert, RCS, Grazing for Profit, KLR marketing.
