We are currently seeking two enthusiastic and energetic Cooks to join our expanding business. Working on a 10:4 roster, you will feed our hard-working and hungry staff who are located at Koojan Downs Feedlot, Koojan Downs Farm and New Norcia Farm.
This role will suit a self-motivated person who enjoy cooking hearty meals, has a strong work ethic and is not afraid of early starts and long days.

While these are permanent positions, we are open to sponsoring qualified candidates on short-term visas and supporting a pathway to permanent residency.
You will need to have a current driver’s licence and own transport.
The Kooyong Site is located 37.5kms from Moora, 160kms north of Perth.
This is a purpose-built site which houses staff from Koojan Downs Feedlot, Koojan Downs Farm and New Norcia Farm which are part of the integrated beef supply chain for Harvest Road. This integrated beef supply chain ranges from north to southwest of Western Australia and is based on best-practice ecological planning and animal welfare management.
Pre-planning and cooking nutritious, hearty meals for the agriculture teams including breakfast, smoko, lunch and dinner.
Coordinate meal planning to accommodate workforce numbers and dietary considerations.
Ensure kitchen equipment is used correctly and maintained in good working order.
Monitor and report any maintenance or safety issues relating to the kitchen and dining area.
Manage kitchen waste appropriately, including maintaining cleanliness of bins and disposal area.
Observing pantry stock, reporting any issues to management.
Maintain a clean, safe and hygienic kitchen and dining environment, ensuring food safety standards are upheld at all times.
Previous experience in a commercial kitchen, camp kitchen, station cook, or similar remote catering role would be highly regarded.
Respectful and professional approach to working within a small community living environment.
Ability to manage workloads calmly during busy periods and adjust plans as required.
Must have a driver’s licence and own transport.
Willingness to work on a roster basis (10:4).
Excellent time management and organisation skills.
High level of hygiene and safety standards.
Great communication skills.
Excellent team player.
Ability to work independently and able to adapt to change.
