Farm Hand/ Machinery Operator | Croppa Creek | NSW

• We are currently looking for motivated individual to join our team , as a Farm hand/ Machinery Operator, located at Croppa Creek, NSW.

• Previous experience with modern machinery (John Deere & Caterpillar) a necessity, able to work independently with minimal supervision. 

• Weekend work on rotation as and when required. 

• Owen Farming is a family owned and operated broadacre cropping enterprise, located 10KM East of Croppa Creek NSW.

• Pay rate dependent on age and experience.  Inclusive of work utility, accommodation & electricity.

Owen Farming is located in the Golden Triangle area of Northern NSW, approx 10km from Croppa Creek, 20km North Star,  64km Goondiwindi, 68km Moree & 100km from Inverell.

Mixed cropping over 28,000 acres.

 Position includes but not limited to:

• Plant operation (tractors and spray rigs)

• Property maintenance – fencing, yards, water troughs and workshop.

•  Water infrastructure, checks & maintenance.

•  Vehicle and machinery maintenance.

•  General day to day farm duties.

•  Grain handling.

Ideally the successful candidate must have:

• Previous experience operating tractors & spray rig

•  Physically strong and fit.

• A safety-first mindset, be highly motivated and keen to have a go.

•  Ability to follow instructions and work part of a diverse team.

•  Current drivers licence and own vehicle.

•  Chem Cert or willingness to obtain.

•  First Aid certificate will be advantageous.
