Hornet Bank Pastoral Company operates a family owned and operated beef cattle breeding & fattening enterprise 56 kilometres west of Taroom. Qld.
General cattle work including weaning and branding and other stock related work
Mustering on motor bikes and horses
General property maintenance including the construction of some replacement fences.
Small motor maintenance
Seasonal feedlot operation which includes pen maintenance, feed mixing & feeding out.
Previous experience as a Station Hand & good work ethic essential
Experience mustering on motorbike or horse is essential
Tractor operation experience an advantage
Ability to drive a body truck an advantage
Be self-motivated and able to work without direct supervision
Be flexible and adaptable
Drivers licence essential
Attractive remuneration package paid on an hourly above award, permanent full-time basis.
Accommodation a comfortable 2 bedroom cottage, reasonable power usage & unlimited internet access included in the package.
