Up to 600 bulls are produced annually, with 100 bulls sold at their annual on-property feature Bull Sale every August, and 400-500 bulls sold through private treaty. Seifert Belmont Red Bulls are sold to both small-scale family operations and large-scale corporate companies, across Queensland, the Northern Territory, Western Australia, New South Wales and Victoria.
Seifert Belmont Reds breeding philosophy is heavily focused on the objective measurement of all traits of economic importance. Breedplan, Genomics, Agritech, and partnering with Research are all used to generate the highest quality data, which combined with phenotype, underpins all their breeding decisions.
