We are seeking an experienced Livestock General Hand to join our operations at Gunnee.

Gunnee Beef Feeding Facility is an award-winning, 10,000-head beef operation located in northern New South Wales. Spanning approximately 1,335 hectares, Gunnee combines state-of-the-art feeding infrastructure with a strong focus on animal welfare and sustainable land management practices.
Reporting to the Livestock Supervisor, the successful applicant will support the livestock program by contributing skills and experience in the following areas:
Handling and monitoring livestock using best practices in animal welfare
Data input and record keeping; experience with StockAid programs is beneficial
Good horse-riding skills (essential)
Assisting with mustering and cattle movements using horses
Water trough cleaning and maintenance
General upkeep, repairs, and maintenance
Minor machinery operation
Strong communication skills
The ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with a focus on completing high-quality work safely
A current driver’s licence (essential)
Your own working horses: they will be stabled, fed, and shod as part of your package
