Key Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities

As an Account Coordinator, you will support Moreton Hire’s Account Managers and project teams in planning and delivering events, exhibitions and temporary event spaces.

This is a varied role combining client communication, administration, logistics and project coordination. You may also have opportunities to attend event sites and see the projects you have helped coordinate come to life.

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Supporting Account Managers and project teams across events and exhibitions

  • Assisting with client enquiries, quotes and project administration

  • Coordinating event requirements from initial planning through to delivery

  • Liaising with clients, suppliers, warehouse teams, operations and logistics

  • Maintaining accurate project information, schedules and documentation

  • Helping ensure projects remain organised and on track

  • Providing professional and responsive customer service

  • Assisting with on-site event delivery when required

  • Managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Job Requirements

Moreton Hire is looking for people who are organised, proactive and comfortable working as part of a busy team.

You may have experience in:

  • Administration or office coordination

  • Marketing or sales support

  • Customer service or account support

  • Events, exhibitions or hospitality

  • Project coordination or logistics

  • Rural businesses, stations, transport or other fast-moving operational environments

You will ideally have:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail

  • A practical, solutions-focused attitude

  • Confidence dealing with clients and different internal teams

  • The ability to manage several tasks and deadlines at once

  • Good computer and general administration skills

  • A willingness to learn about the events and exhibitions industry

Previous events experience would be an advantage, but people with transferable administration, marketing, customer service or coordination experience are encouraged to apply.
