Senior Station Hand | 2027 | De Rose Hill Station | SA

• We are looking for Experienced Station Hand applicants with previous experience with cattle and the ability to work independently.

• We offer opportunities to attend training and upskill in a wide range of topics related to stock handling and land management.

• Experience is required; Horses are not used; Start March 2027.

You will be based at De Rose Hill Station, 350km south of Alice Springs, SA.

Lyndavale Cattle Co is a family owned and operated business, producing organic rangeland beef across three cattle stations in Central Australia. We are a small, family orientated team and value people who have a good work ethic and are keen to learn. We pride ourselves in producing quiet, quality cattle. 

Main responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

📍 Cattle work

📍Carting cattle within and between the stations

📍Bore runs

📍General property maintenance

📍Machinery Operation (Grader, Loader, Telehandler)

📍Maintaining fences

📍Infrastructure improvements

📍Keeping workshop tidy and orderly

✅ Experience on cattle station in a similar role

✅ Manual driver’s licence

✅ HC licence (MC Preferred)

✅ Mechanical and welding skills

✅ Must have initiative and be able to work both independently and as part of a small, close-knit team

✅ Applicants must be flexible, honest and tidy.

• This position is for an individual with a starting date March 2027.

• Remuneration will be based on experience and includes meals and accommodation, work vehicle, internet and utilities.

• Lyndavale Cattle Co offers several training opportunities to further develop your skills throughout the year.

• We do not use horses.
