Geddes Pastoral is looking for experienced Harvest Crew to join our family-run mixed farming business near Holbrook in southern NSW for the upcoming harvest.
Our first priority is an experienced Truck Driver / Harvest Support All-Rounder who can turn their hand to several jobs and use their judgement when things get busy. We’re also looking for one or two Header Operators with CLAAS experience and one Chaser Bin Operator.

We are a respected, family run, mixed farming business located near Holbrook in southern NSW. We specialise in high rainfall sheep and cropping systems with cattle trading as a seasonal opportunity. We run 14000 plus merino and composite ewes, crop 800ha and can trade large numbers of cattle annually depending on the season. Holbrook is a vibrant rural town in Southern NSW. It has a strong sporting community including football, netball, tennis, cricket and polocrosse/campdrafting clubs and a large gym facility. Schooling includes 2 primary schools and access to multiple senior school options. Holbrook is within 50 min of Albury and Wagga.
Truck Driver / Harvest Support All-Rounder | 1 position
Drive trucks and operate grain augers.
Help set up fire support equipment and assist with machinery servicing.
Pitch in across the harvest operation as priorities change.
Header Operator | 1–2 positions
Operate a CLAAS header as part of the harvest crew.
Carry out daily checks and work with the chaser bin and truck operators to keep harvest moving.
Chaser Bin Operator | 1 position
Operate the tractor and chaser bin to move grain from the header to the truck or unloading point.
Coordinate with header and truck operators throughout the day.
Truck and harvest support: Previous truck driving experience, the appropriate licence for the vehicle, and practical experience across harvest support duties. We’re looking for someone who can work independently and knows where to lend a hand.
Header: CLAAS header experience is required. Experience on a CLAAS 760 is preferred.
Chaser bin: Experience operating a tractor and chaser bin, with clear communication around moving machinery.
For all roles, work safely and reliably as part of a busy harvest crew.
