Innamincka Station is currently seeking a Station Cook for the 2026 season and beyond in our newly renovated kitchen. As the Station Cook you will be required to plan, prepare and cook wholesome and nutritious meals for a crew of up to 15 with the occasional guest or contractor. The role requires flexibility, maintaining a clean kitchen dwelling, including meat house, cool room, fridges and freezes. Being familiar with and cooking with beef. We live remote, our closest city is Port Augusta 700kms away in SA or the town of Quilpie is 500kms in QLD.  We do however live a mere 4kms from the small township of Innamincka where you will find a servo, a pub and RFDS clinic.

Murray Downs are seeking a Station Cook to join the team in 2026 and beyond. The Station Cook is responsible for the planning, preparation, and delivery of nutritious meals for 15 station employees and occasional guests. This includes maintaining stock levels, ensuring hygienic kitchen operations, and catering for staff working both on-site and away from the station complex. The role requires excellent organisational skills, the ability to work within budgets, and commitment to maintaining a clean and well - structured kitchen environment. Other duties include working a half-day Saturday in the station store on a rotating roster between other staff.
