Wallumba Feedlot is looking for a dependable and practical Livestock Hand to assist daily cattle operations in a safe and efficient feedlot setting. This is a hands-on position ideal for anyone who has a passion for working outdoors, enjoys working with livestock, values animal welfare, and thrives in a team environment. Experience with work horses is essential; applicants must be confident riders and comfortable handling stock both in yards and pens. REQUIRED: Proven horsemanship skills –TWO horses and required tack /gear if possible

This is a full-time, onsite junior feedlot role, working alongside an experienced team to support the day-to-day operations of the feedlot. You’ll be involved in all aspects of feedlot work from feeding and cattle checks through to yard maintenance and general duties. This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same. This role suits someone who is eager to learn, takes direction well, and is willing to pitch in wherever needed. No extensive experience required, just the right attitude.

The Farmhand & Feed Person supports the day-to-day operations of the feedlot, focusing on livestock care, feed preparation, machinery operation, and general farm duties. This role ensures cattle are well cared for, fed accurately, and the feedlot is maintained to a high standard.
