Wallumba Feedlot values practical skills and seeks a dependable Mechanic/Maintenance Technician who can contribute to a safe and efficient feedlot environment. This is a hands-on position suited for those passionate about outdoor work, livestock environments, and attention to detail, thriving in a team setting. Experience with pivots is a plus; confidence in fabrication and machinery maintenance is essential.

Central Queensland Livestock Exchange (CQLX) formerly known as the “Gracemere Saleyards” commenced operations in January 1953. The saleyard is situated 8 kms west of Rockhampton on the Capricorn Highway leading to the Central Highlands and the Central western centres of Barcaldine, Blackall, Longreach and Winton. CQLX ranks as one of the major selling centre's in Australia and is regarded as one of the best studs selling facilities in the country.
