We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Pen Rider with demonstrated abilities in livestock handling skills to join the pen riding team at Wambo Feedlot.

Join the team at Lemontree Feedlot as a full time experienced Stockperson/ Pen Rider based in Millmerran, QLD. In this hands-on role, you will be an integral part of the farm operations, responsible for the care and welfare of livestock. With a focus on animal health and productivity, you will contribute to the overall success of the feedlot.

Seeking reliable and practical Livestock Hands to support daily cattle activities in a safe, efficient feedlot environment. This hands-on role suits someone passionate about outdoor work, livestock care, and animal welfare, while valuing teamwork. Experience with horses or motorbikes around stock is highly beneficial, along with essential experience working with beef cattle. Ideally, candidates will be confident riders and comfortable handling stock both in yards and pens. The position is suitable for those wanting to work some of their own horses, with allowances for personal gear, or for applicants without their own horse or gear. 

An opportunity exists within our Livestock team as a Pen Rider reporting to the Assistant Livestock Manager. As a Pen Rider you are responsible for the daily maintenance and care of all livestock ensuring their optimal health and hygiene. We are currently seeking enthusiastic and energetic  Pen-Riders  to join our expanding business. Working on a  10:4 permanent roster , you will be a part of a team to operate the feeding facility  near Moora, WA . This is WA’s largest feeding facility and is designed to supply Harvest Road’s processing facility, Harvey Beef.   Please note: You will need to be an experienced horse rider. These are permanent positions, those on short term/working holiday visas will not be considered. You will need to have a current driver’s licence and own transport.
