We’re looking for an experienced Station Manager to lead operations at Avon Downs – a key breeding station in AACo’s northern portfolio. Located 70km west of Camooweal and 250km northwest of Mount Isa, Avon Downs plays an important role in producing premium cattle for AACo’s Wagyu brands.  As Station Manager at Avon Downs, you’ll take charge of station operations and performance, leading a skilled team to hit production targets and deliver results. You’ll oversee livestock, budgets, and reporting, while driving best practices and keeping strong communication with the Regional Manager. 

We are looking for a dedicated Head Stockperson to lead our team in Avon Downs Feeder Yards. We are looking for someone to lead the team at Avon Downs as the Head Stockperson for the newly built feeder yards. In this role you’ll take the lead on daily feeder yard operations, working closely with the Station Manager, Operations Manager and a small team of Station Hands. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll guide your team, ensuring livestock are managed safely, efficiently, and in line with best practice animal welfare standards. You’ll be a key part of our operations, supporting animal performance, team development, and continuous improvement across the feeder yard.

We are looking for a dedicated Bore Runner to join our team at Avon Downs.

Joining the crew at Soudan Station, you will undertake station hand duties mustering on horses and bikes as well as transporting livestock as required in oversized trucks or road trains ensuring animal health and welfare. A rare position offering daily variety accross heavy vehicle operations and cattle work. 

The Head Stockman will lead a small collaborative crew of approximately 7 station hands ensuring the efficient and effective operations of the stock camp. For this position, you will need to be flexible, organised and have great communication skills. This position reports to and works closely with the Soudan Station Manager.

PRF Industrial is seeking full time skilled and experienced Boilermakers/ Welders  and Labourers  to join our fast paced team in Katherine workshop along with onsite work.
