  • An exciting position has become available to oversee one of the most iconic Kimberley cattle stations in WA.

  • This role would suit a person (single, couple, family accomodation available) with previous experience on large cattle station's in a Head Stockman role ready to step up to the next level.

Gogo Station is in the heart of the Kimberley region of WA, located 4 hours east of Broome (and 16km from Fitzroy Crossing), working with a great team of people in a family orientated environment led and created by Chris and Sally Towne.

Gogo station comprises of a mix of diverse, stunning country totalling 375,000 ha carrying 25,000 head of high quality Brahman/ Droughtmaster cross cattle.

Key Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities

The successful applicant will be working alongside Station Manager Chris Towne and will have opportunities for advancement within the family business for the right applicant.

Job Requirements

  • The successful applicant must have excellent communication skills, the ability to manage staff and be part of team where high standards of OH&S are valued.
     
  • Must have the ability to handle large herds of cattle with an emphasis on animal husbandry, using predominantly helicopters and motorbikes for mustering and horses for walking cattle and weaner education
     
  • Must be motivated, energetic, be able to work independently or part of a team.
     
  • The successful applicant will be working alongside Station Manager Chris Towne and will have opportunities for advancement within the family business for the right applicant.
