We are looking for a Manager for our breeder property located 160km North of Aramac and 260km South West of Charters Towers.
Well developed cattle property located 160km North of Aramac and 260km South West of Charters Towers.
Working as part of a family business you will be responsible for:
Day to day station activities including..
Upkeep and maintenance of stock water.
General upkeep of fencing.
Maintaining homestead and station complex to a high standard
Organising and supervising livestock handling including mustering, branding, weaning, vaccinations, drafting and paddock rotation.
Coordination of lick feeding program.
Operation and basic maintenance of station plant and machinery.
Coordination of station capital improvements.
Extensive experience in cattle, pasture and water management.
Practical knowledge of solar bores, fencing, machinery operation and general station maintenance.
Good cattle handling, horse and 2 wheel motor bike skills.
Computer literacy, use of Microsoft Excel and Agriweb is an advantage.
Enjoy working unsupervised.
Previous experience with cattle breeding programs is an advantage.
A largely unsupervised position with adequate support when required.
