We are looking for a motivated person to join our team in our Central Queensland Aggregation.
Prior Station Hand experience is a requirement for this role.
This position will be based at our Central Queensland Aggregation, consisting of approximately 8,000head of cattle
These three closely aligned highly productive backgrounding properties are located approximately 105km from Clermont & approximately 95km from Moranbah.
Consisting of a mix of land types from Isaac River frontage to developed Brigalow scrub and open downs, these properties are unitised to grow out feeder steers and cull females.
Assist with livestock management, mustering and drafting - mustering done with use of motorbikes, horses, ATVs (Side by Sides) used with helicopters.
Maintain and basic repairs to equipment and facilities as needed
Operate machinery, such as tractors and trucks, as required
Maintain accurate records of livestock movements and treatments
Follow all health and safety procedures and regulations
Work effectively as part of a team to achieve station goals
MUST HAVE previous experience in a Station Hand position
Show initiative, and have the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
Valid driver's license and have own reliable transportation
Full-time, permanent position (6mth probation)
