We are currently seeking motivated Station Hands to join our teams across our cattle stations in the stunning Kimberley, Pilbara, and Gascoyne regions of Western Australia.

The Stations:

Jubilee Downs Station

  • Located 90km South of Fitzroy Crossing, Jubilee Downs is a breeding property stretching across 220,000 hectares of West Kimberley landscape.  The station is home to a high-quality herd of red composite cattle, with quality weaners entering Harvest Road’s vertically integrated supply chain for backgrounding and feeding.

Minderoo Station

  • The Minderoo aggregation is located in the West Pilbara region, covering 760,000ha from Pilbara mesa ranges to the Exmouth Gulf coastline. Currently transitioning from a breeding to backgrounding focus, the property is also home to Harvest Road’s composite bull breeding program, horse breeding program and irrigated fodder production.

Brickhouse Station

  • Brickhouse Station is a 225,000ha station located on the outskirts of Carnarvon close to the southern end of the Ningaloo Reef. Brickhouse is utilised as a backgrounding property. Located on the banks of the Gascoyne River you will be close to fishing, surfing and snorkelling on the famous Ningaloo Reef.

Key Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities

  • You will provide day to day support to the Station Management team in all aspects of animal husbandry and maintenance of station infrastructure and machinery.

  • You will be willing to learn and build a career, with a strong work ethic and passion to contribute towards and learn about the Northern Beef industry.   

  • You will become an integral part of a progressive business, with a strong commitment to Australian Agriculture and always demonstrate commitment to safe working practises and animal welfare.

Job Requirements

We are looking for team members who:

  • Always prioritise safe working practices and animal welfare.

  • Possess experience in handling horses and/or motorbikes.

  • Enjoy working in a close-knit team and embrace a positive Harvest Road culture.

  • Be self-motivated and demonstrate a strong work ethic.

  • Have experience in cattle animal husbandry (preferred).

  • Follow the guidance of station management.

  • Hold a current manual driver’s licence.

  • Exhibit initiative, problem-solving skills, and a good level of physical fitness.
