We are seeking an experienced and reliable Senior Machinery Operator to join the team in our CQ Aggregation. This position is suited to someone with strong operating experience who can confidently lead a crew, and maintain high safety and productivity standards.
Working in a remote environment, this role will be responsible for operating & maintaining machinery while overseeing daily site activities and supporting the successful delivery of various projects. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, proactive, and capable of leading by example.
Operate a range of heavy machinery safely and efficiently
Supervise day-to-day machinery operations
Ensure works are completed to schedule and project requirements
Conduct pre-starts, basic maintenance checks, and reporting
Lead and mentor team members on site
Liaise with management, subcontractors, and other site personnel effectively
Extensive experience operating heavy machinery
Proven ability to lead teams and supervise site activities
Understanding of workplace health and safety requirements
Ability to work independently and solve problems in remote environments
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Relevant machinery tickets and licences
Own vehicle & current driver’s licence required
