We're on the hunt for a motivated, hands-on Station Hand to join the team at Gunbar Station, located around 50km south-west of Hillston and just over an hour from Griffith in South West NSW.
This is a live-in role, so you'll need your own vehicle (no nearby public transport).
Gunbar, located around 50km south-west of Hillston and just over an hour from Griffith in South West NSW, covers over 60,000 hectares running 20,000 head of Merino sheep along with a breeding program to provide Merino rams to our other Jumbuck sheep properties. In addition, we also run shorthorn cattle across the flat and mostly open country.
Mustering and stockwork (2-wheel motorbike experience preferred)
Sheep and cattle work
Fencing and water runs
Welding, repairs and general maintenance
Animal husbandry
Previous livestock experience is a bonus, but not essential - what matters most is a strong work ethic, confidence outdoors, and a genuine interest in building a long-term career in agriculture.
