We’re looking for a hands-on, reliable Domestic/Gardener to join our team at Eva Downs.
Eva Downs station is located approximately 380km north-east of Tennant Creek in the Barkly Tablelands, NT.
As the Station Gardener & Domestic, you are responsible for completing a variety of tasks, including the following:
Support day-to-day station life, including social club duties, restocking first aid kits and occasional admin support
Maintain clean, tidy and welcoming staff quarters, guest accommodation, offices and shared spaces
Mow lawns, whipper snip, hedge, weed and maintain gardens and surrounding areas
Operate, maintain and repair sprinklers and irrigation systems
Carry out general upkeep, including rubbish removal, air conditioner cleaning and equipment checks
Feed animals around the homestead and assist with maintaining water systems
Experience in a similar domestic, gardening or station-based role
Practical, organised and able to manage your own work schedule
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
Positive, flexible and willing to help across different areas of the station
Strong attention to cleanliness, presentation and safety
Current driver’s licence and Q Fever vaccination (or willingness to obtain)
