We are looking for a Loader Operator for feed mill commodities to join our team at Wonga Plains near Dalby, QLD.
Wonga Plains is strategically located 30km from Dalby and under an hour's drive from Toowoomba and is focused around a recently expanded 21,000 SCU feedlot. Surrounding the feedlot, the aggregation is made up of a mix of high-quality dryland and irrigation farming as well as feeder backgrounding across its approximately 5,000 hectares. The assisted backgrounding operation surrounding the feedlot operates up to 6,000 head.
Safely receiving, loading, unloading and moving feed mill commodities.
Maintains commodity storage areas, operates loaders and associated equipment, monitors product quality and stock movements
Supports efficient feed mill operations while looking after equipment and respecting the team
Safely operate and maintain all machinery
Monitor equipment for proper performance
Carry out basic maintenance and minor repairs
Follow all safety procedures
Experience operaing a Loader
Flexible and able to work with different machinery
Ability to work independently and in a team
Good communication and time management skills
Experience in a similar environment
Able provide own accommodation is preferred
