Station Hands | Taylors Plains | QLD

• We are seeking two capable Station Hands to join the team at Taylors Plains, located approximately 100 kilometres north of Mungallala in Queensland.

• Applicants must be intermediate to experienced horse riders and have previous cattle-handling experience. These are not entry-level positions.

• Open to singles or couples

Taylors Plains is an 84,000-acre cattle property located approximately 100 kilometres north of Mungallala, Queensland.

The property operates a Wagyu stud and feeds commercial Wagyu weaners.

• Mustering cattle on horseback

• Cattle handling, drafting and processing

• General livestock husbandry

• Checking cattle, waters and paddocks

• Fencing and infrastructure maintenance

• General station and property duties

• Working closely together and as part of the wider station team

• Operating station vehicles and equipment safely

• Maintaining high animal welfare and workplace safety standards

• Intermediate to experienced horse-riding ability is essential

• Previous cattle-handling experience is essential

• Confident working cattle from horseback

• Reliable, practical and willing to contribute across all station duties

• Able to follow instructions and work effectively within a team

• A positive attitude and strong work ethic

• Current manual driver’s licence preferred

• Both applicants must be available to work together each day
