Mobile heavy mechanic located in Katherine NT.
Diagnose, service and repair heavy diesel vehicles and machinery
Carry out scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance
Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults
Complete repairs on mining, transport and earthmoving equipment
Perform component replacements and general workshop repairs
Respond to breakdowns and complete field-service work when required
Maintain accurate service and repair records
Keep tools, equipment and work areas clean and organised
Follow workplace health, safety and environmental procedures
Work independently and collaboratively with the wider team
To be considered, you will have:
A Certificate III qualification as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic or equivalent
Experience working with mining, transport or earthmoving equipment
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
A practical, reliable and safety-conscious approach
The ability to work effectively as part of a team
Competitive hourly rate, negotiable based on experience
