Brindley Park Feedlot, 30mins drive from Roma,has carrying capacity of 25,000 standard cattle units, with diverse cattle types from long fed Wagyu through to mid fed export cattle and a range of feeding programs.

Key Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities

Reporting to the Administration Manager, this is a key role which interacts with all feedlot departments and takes responsibility for timely and accurate processing of administration activities including:    

  • Professional liaison and communication with a range of visitors, suppliers, staff and drivers

  • Accurately and timely collection, recording & processing of data and information

  • Effective utilisation of livestock data systems (eg StockaID and FY3000 or similar)

  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office, especially Excel

  • Reporting on weighbridge activities as required

  • Supporting timekeeping and payroll activities

  • New employee onboarding

  • Providing back up support/relief to other administration team members

Job Requirements

  • Demonstrate organisational skills and time management skills

  • Communicate and interact well with a range of people 

  • Effectively use written and numerical skills 

  • Work with accuracy and high attention to detail

  • Use computer systems, MS Suite and livestock data systems 

Along with having a valid drivers' licence, for the right candidate with an interest in being hands on with livestock, there is also an opportunity to cross train and rotate within in the livestock team.
