Starting mid-October, you'll see out the rest of this season and settle into the kitchen, ready to hit the ground running for 2027
Fort Constantine Station is a historic cattle property located approximately 40 kilometres north-east of Cloncurry in north-west Queensland.
Stanbroke is a reputable family-owned and operated Australian cattle and beef business. Our operations span across Northern Queensland, with the extensive cattle properties, backgrounding operations in Southern Queensland, state-of-the-art cattle feedlots, a fully accredited beef processing facility and global marketing capabilities. We offer a full range of Grain and Grass-fed beef categories and export to over 40 countries globally.
As our Station Cook, you'll be the heart of the station kitchen, whipping up delicious meals that fuel our team's spirit through the season. Your mission is to:
Plan and prepare appetising, balanced menus for all station meals
Cook for up to 25 people, including station staff, guests and contractors
Cater for station events and functions
Monitor inventory and order supplies as needed
Keep a clean, hygienic and organised kitchen that meets food safety standards
Experience in a similar role, cooking for groups of up to 25
You are organised with great time management and an eye for detail in menu planning
You are a self-starter who thrives both independently and as part of a close-knit team
You are a food enthusiast eager to create wholesome, hearty meals
Handy with general maintenance and repairs? That's a bonus!
The ability to follow company Workplace Health & Safety policies and procedures, and practise safe food hygiene

Gulf Maintenance is Stanbroke's dedicated mechanical and infrastructure team based in northern Queensland, responsible for keeping our remote station fleet and equipment operational. Roles include truck drivers and plant operators.
Gulf Air is Stanbroke's aviation team, providing essential aerial support across our operations. The team includes helicopter pilots who muster cattle across our northern cattle stations, as well as fixed-wing pilots covering a wide range of flying across the business.
