The Farm Mechanic/ Broadacre Farm Hand role at Mallee View is a full‑time, hands‑on position supporting the operation of our broadacre cropping enterprise. This role is suited to a capable and experienced individual who takes pride in machinery reliability and understands the importance of keeping equipment running efficiently during key seasonal periods. The position has a mix of mechanical focus, with responsibility for servicing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of broadacre farm machinery. You will be required to diagnose and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, and basic electrical issues both in the workshop and in the paddock, as well as prepare machinery for seeding, spraying, and harvest to minimise downtime. Alongside mechanical duties, the role requires the ability to be a farm hand and operate machinery e.g. seeder, sprayers, header.
