The Livestock Hand (Casual) at Gracemere Saleyards, 8kms west of Rockhampton, undertakes various tasks in the support of livestock sale day activities and provides support and assistance to the Business Manager in the day to day operations of Regional Livestock Exchange or sale yard facilities.
The role will work closely with the Site Manager and other team members to support the smooth operation of the yard, especially during livestock sale events. This role can be performed with the use of your own horses.
This role offers a dynamic work environment where your skills and attention to detail will directly contribute to the efficiency and safety of our operations.
This position is available to Working Holiday Visa Holders (Backpackers) with right experience.
