NAPCo have 15 stations across QLD and NT please indicate any location preferences We are looking for Station Hands to join our crews on our QLD or the NT Stations. If you enjoy rural living and have a genuine interest in the beef industry, we'd love to hear from you. To be considered for positions please complete an online application, by attaching a resume and cover letter explaining your interest in joining NAPCo.

Positions available Soudan, Mittiebah and Goldsborough stations. Must be able to commence on statin this year.

Key Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities

  • Flex across mustering, fencing, checking waters, lick runs and other general station duties as required

  • Loading and unloading livestock

  • Drafting and processing livestock

  • Mustering cattle on motorbikes and horses

  • Working in a team and on occasion independently

  • Complying with Health and Safety policies and procedures

Job Requirements

  • Have experience working with cattle (low stress stock handling experience is highly desirable)

  • Be a confident horse rider or motorbike rider, with experience mustering cattle

  • Be a confident motorbike rider, with experience working with cattle

  • Be able to flex across mustering, fencing and other general station duties as required

  • Have experience operating machinery, highly regarded but not essential   

  • Have experience working in a team and on your own

  • Have experience complying with Health and Safety policies and procedures

  • Be motivated, show enthusiasm and have a great attitude towards what you do
